Performance Opportunities
At the end of each school year, RCDA produces an elaborate recital production in which all students are invited to perform.
Annual Dance Recital
Students are taught age-appropriate choreography that enables them to take the stage with confidence and enthusiasm. Stunning (yet modest!) costumes are custom-ordered for each dancer and enhance the recital experience, allowing each student to shine brightly. A fresh recital theme is presented each year and includes a grand finale that involves dancers of all ages.

Jingle Jubilee
RCDA dancers help kick off the holiday season at the annual Chevy Chase Lake Jingle Jubilee and perform festive dances before the community tree lighting!
Cherry Blossom Parade All-Star Dance Team
For many years, RCDA dancers joined over 400 other dancers from around the U.S. on the National Cherry Blossom All-Star Dance Team. The enormous ensemble learned a unique and upbeat dance every year, which was performed along Constitution Avenue as part of the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.
Mother Seton Parish Communion Breakfast
Miss Christina was commissioned by Mother Seton Parish to choreograph a piece to Ave Maria, which was performed at the Parish’s annual communion breakfast. RCDA dancers have also previewed recital pieces at this annual event. An encore performance of Ava Maria was also requested!
