Rock Creek Dance Academy is delighted to announce an additional session of Summer Princess and Fairy Dance Camp August 21-25 from 9:30am-12:30pm for ages 4-7! Camp will be held at our Maplewood-Alta Vista Park location (5209 Alta Vista Road Bethesda MD 20817).

Share in the magical and imaginative adventures of RCDA’s Summer Princess/Fairy Dance Camps! Participants will dance and craft as they pretend to be famous princesses and fairies like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, the Sugar Plum Fairy and more. Each session will explore different princesses and fairies! We’ll also tap over to The Land of Sweet Taps with our yummy candy-themed tap dance exercises and games. Each day includes a ballet and tap lesson, craft session, and princess ballet time when we’ll create our own mini-ballet production based on that week’s characters. We’ll also practice princess-perfect manners and behavior, most especially during our daily snack break. All dancers will receive a beautiful tutu and matching headpiece. On the last day, the dancers will perform their Princess Ballet and Candy Tap Dances for family and friends!

Pre-registration for current and new customers is underway. An annual non-refundable registration fee of $35.00 per family will be collected at the time of pre-registration. General registration begins on August 21. After pre-registration, school-year tuition is divided into three installments by trimester: on August 21, 2017, on December 4, 2017, and on March 5, 2018.

Due to the inclement weather, all classes at ALL LOCATIONS are cancelled today, Tuesday, 3/14/17.

You can make up any missed lessons (due to inclement weather, illness, travel, etc.) in another class of a similar level on a different day at any time. There is no expiration date for making up missed classes.

Power is out at Walter Johnson High School. Therefore, Intro Jazz/Tap, Jazz V, and Rhythm Tap will be held at the Woman’s Club of Bethesda (at the usual class times) tonight, 3/1/17.

The Woman’s Club of Bethesda is located at 5500 Sonoma Road Bethesda, MD, on the corner of Sonoma Road and Old Georgetown Road (across from NIH).
