Rock Creek Dance Academy offers unique leadership training for select RCDA teen students through its Apprenticeship Program. Participants in this program have the opportunity to work one-on-one with RCDA faculty as they assist in the direction of our children’s classes. Apprentices learn how to compose and direct a dance class and help with small administrative tasks. Apprentices are trained to set a good example and act as role models for our young students, demonstrating RCDA’s tenets of grace, poise, balance, strength, and confidence.

Participation in this program provides crucial assistance to RCDA faculty and students and greatly enhances the Apprentice’s experience as a dance student. Each Apprentice is recognized along with the RCDA Faculty during our year-end Annual Dance Recital.
